These general terms must be read with the accepted quotation for your particular work. Profile package prices and scope shown as proposed remain subject to confirmation.

1. Enquiries and quotations

Sending an enquiry requests a response or quotation. It does not appoint BuildCape to ongoing work, publish a profile or authorise a monthly debit. Work begins only when the scope, price, timing and applicable payment conditions are agreed in writing. Your accepted quotation or service schedule records the particular deliverables, exclusions, responsibilities, fees, payment dates, revisions, start date and cancellation arrangements. Changes require written agreement.

2. Fees and payment references

General business support is quoted according to the work required. Proposed profile options shown in this preview are Standard (free), Gold (R99 per month) and optional profile setup (R250 once-off). These are subject to confirmation of scope and price; do not pay an unconfirmed quotation. Choose only the services you need. Any applicable VAT, third-party charges and total price must be disclosed before you accept or pay.

Submit and save your enquiry before opening payment. Keep the BC reference. On the current general Yoco payment page, enter the confirmed amount and that reference and check the merchant details. Paying the wrong amount or omitting the reference may delay matching; contact us with the Yoco receipt. Payment acknowledgement and service or profile activation are separate steps.

3. Monthly services

A monthly price states the billing interval; it does not by itself authorise automatic collection. Current Yoco link payments are manual. Any future subscription or debit arrangement requires clear disclosure of the amount, frequency, start date, duration, cancellation route and a separate authorisation before activation. Any price change must be communicated and agreed or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable law.

4. Client responsibilities and delivery

Provide accurate information and documents you are authorised to share, nominate an authorised contact and review drafts and calculations promptly. Delivery dates depend on agreed inputs, access, approvals and workload. Tell us about statutory and tender deadlines before accepting a quotation. BuildCape must flag material delays and discuss a revised plan; delays do not remove any statutory rights.

5. Scope and professional responsibilities

Administrative support does not guarantee a tender award, registration approval, job, customer lead or regulatory outcome. Clients remain responsible for their business decisions and for obtaining any required sign-off by a qualified professional. Legal, tax, accounting or other regulated advice and representation are included only if expressly agreed and lawfully provided. Template preparation is not a substitute for advice on your particular circumstances.

6. Profiles and publication

Free and paid options remain available. Profile setup is optional and distinct from a monthly listing. Confirm the content and public contact details before publication. A paid highlight or Gold appearance is not verification of qualifications, licences or performance. BuildCape may seek corrections or decline unlawful or misleading content and will explain material issues. Listing benefits, renewal dates and cancellation arrangements must be supplied before activation.

7. Privacy and confidentiality

We handle enquiry details under our privacy notice. Both parties must protect confidential information and use it only for authorised work, subject to legal disclosure duties. Where BuildCape processes employee or customer data on your behalf, the parties must agree the necessary written processing instructions, security measures, access limits, incident reporting and return or deletion arrangements before that data is handed over. Do not send sensitive records through the enquiry form.

8. Documents, templates and ownership

The quotation must identify what you receive, permitted use, editable files, included revisions and any third-party licence limits. Your own records remain yours. Custom deliverables and any licence or transfer of rights must be described in the quotation; nothing here automatically assigns all intellectual property or restricts rights that law requires you to retain.

9. Cancellation, refunds and problems

Contact info@buildcape.co.za with your reference to cancel, query an amount or report a problem. The accepted quotation must explain cancellation, notice and treatment of work already performed and reasonable committed costs. We will assess refunds and remedies according to the agreement and applicable law. There is no blanket “no refunds” rule. Any applicable cooling-off, fixed-term cancellation, quality and other consumer rights remain available; these terms do not waive them. No automatic monthly collection is enabled by this form.

10. Complaints, responsibility and acceptance

Please raise problems promptly so we can investigate and propose a remedy. Neither party is excused from responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. South African law applies, without removing mandatory consumer rights or lawful complaint and court processes. Acceptance on this website covers these enquiry and profile terms, not an unseen quotation or a future subscription mandate. Save or print these terms for your records.
